July Startup Drinks

{ June 22nd, 2009 }

After talking with quite a few people, we’ve settled on having the first Phoenix Startup Drinks in Tempe at Four Peaks Brewery!

When

2nd Tues: Tuesday, July 14, 2009 from 6-9pm
Last Thurs: Thursday, July 30, 2009 from 6-9pm

We’re trying to have it twice a month on different days to accommodate more people. If this format doesn’t work, then we’ll change it and let you know :)

About the venue

Housed in a historic brick building dating to 1892, Four Peaks Brewery is a staple of Tempe nightlife. It’s won many awards over the years for it’s unique beers and was recently awarded the 2009 Critics’ Pick for Best Local Brewery from AZCentral as well as the 2009 Readers’ Choice for Best Pub with Grub.

    I’ll be at the first AZIMA meeting earlier that night, so my attendance in the last hour is dependent on how into after-parties the AZIMA peeps are. Count me as a maybe.

    I’m planning to attend on July 14.

    I am about 85% sure I will be there. @MsHerr…does that help you make up your mind?

    Lots of events going on this Tuesday, so we will likely be competing with those and thus attendance might be low to the first one. But that’s what makes the 2-a-month idea more appealing.

    @curtism - any luck with getting in touch with the Four Peaks people?

    @Bret unless we get a lot of RSVPs, I’m not sure we’ll have enough people for Four Peaks to care :)
